Giacomo Carbonara arranges superyacht charters from 24 to over 70 metres in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, departing from Monaco, Porto Cervo, Saint-Tropez, Capri and St. Barth. Every yacht comes fully crewed; top-level chefs, tenders and water toys are agreed directly with owners and captains before embarkation.

How much does it cost to charter a superyacht in the Mediterranean?

The weekly charter fee depends on length, year, crew and season. On top of that come the APA for fuel, food and berthing, usually 30-35% in the Mediterranean, VAT in the country of embarkation and the crew gratuity. Giacomo sets out every item clearly before the MYBA contract is signed.

How many guests can sleep on board a charter yacht?

Most commercial charter yachts can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests overnight, even when the yacht itself is very large, as a result of international safety regulations. For daytime events the number of guests can be higher, depending on the yacht’s certification and the authorisations of its flag state.

When is the best time to charter a yacht in Monaco, Porto Cervo and Saint-Tropez?

High season runs from June to September, peaking during the Monaco Grand Prix, the Monaco Yacht Show in September and throughout August on the Costa Smeralda. May and October bring calmer seas, temperatures that are still pleasant and better availability of both berths and yachts.
